Open Position: Atlas Home Care Aid, Inc. is currently hiring for the position of Home Health Aid.

Home Health Aids serve in many different capacities throughout our company but is not limited to personal care, companionship, and home helper services. Home Health Aids generally work with seniors, people recovering from surgery, disabled adults, and veterans, which can take place either in a facility or in the form of private in-home care.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but is not required for employment as on the job training is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engaging with clients in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity with respect and attention to safety.
- Following the instructions of healthcare professionals, such as nurses or hospice care doctors, to aid clients in personal tasks and simple health duties, such as the administering of medications.
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom.
- Helping patients to walk, assisting them in carrying out exercises, and helping them in maintaining memory when applicable.
- Ensuring the client is receiving proper nutrition by making their meals when necessary, grocery shopping, determining food which is due for expiration dates, light housework, and laundry services.
- Actively engage clients through conversation and companionship.
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free living/work environment for our clients.
- Possess the ability to address client needs if the client is unable to advocate for themselves.
